Belinda Caldwell: Your are My Faith Lord

“25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

29 “Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:25-31 (NIV)

‘Eventually, Peter’s beliefs were based on knowing. He spent time in the Lord’s Presence and developed the mind of Christ….’ (Jaque).

I have always loved Peter’s character Lord. I think it’s kind of similar to mine. We want a lot and so we move sometimes without thinking, and then the enemy gets to us and causes doubts to rise high like the waves did for Peter, and we get discouraged and start sinking.

Yes Belinda. It’s all about where you put your eyes, where is your focus. When you live from Me in your heart, will you keep going without stumbling? The world is a place of distraction and if that’s not enough, your enemy will certainly try to overpower your faith with his lies. As you put My Word in over and over again, practicing My Presence, your faith muscles grow stronger and they start to rule over your head and what comes into it. The Truth will rise up over the doubts that assail and bring light and life to the darkness. Your stumbling will become less frequent as your heart-ear practices over and over waiting upon My voice for direction.

Lord, I see my mind surrounded by a wall of Your words. Your Word is my Rock of defense.

Just so Belinda. You are a watchman on the wall, filled with My Word, alert for the enemy’s darts. Live life from Me Belinda, at peace in all circumstances, rising above all the billowing waves that look like the bubbles in your sink; they are powerless to do anything but trickle down the drain!

O Father, what a neat picture. I am able to do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Your are My Faith Lord

I AM the I AM in you. I love you child.
