My voice, received by a heart ready to listen, is found in My Word and spoken by My Spirit. It unlocks a heart that is not hard; a heart that desires to see the truth and be set free. This kind of a heart is wanting to learn from Me to find truth and their true self. Cindy as each student learns to journalize, it will slow them down to focus on Me and learn from Me. As they obey what they learn they will grow and discipleship starts. They trust Me and know of My great love for them, so I can then share with them the secrets of My Kingdom. As they are excited about what they learn, they will share it with those around them. Discipleship based on My loving truth is occurring.

Lord discipleship must be based on a soft heart that is ready to listen and learn…but what causes a hard heart to soften?

Love Cindy! Love softens a heart, so that there is a desire to trust Me and learn from My Word and My voice. So, discipleship begins with love and acceptance. That is why anything without love is a noisy gong. Love has to come first so that each person wants to learn the Truth, hear My voice, and enter the discipleship process. Who will take a class, that does not feel loved and cared for! If they know that I love them because they see it in your ‘Christ in Cindy’ form, then they will trust you to shepherd them and introduce them to My Word and Spirit through a Visionwriters class.

The woman at the well, Zacchaeus in the tree, the hungry people on the hill, the groom with no more wine….on and on Jesus you modeled love 1st, their heart softened, and then they were anxious to hear what You had to say. Thank you, Lord that You are a loving God…a caring God…a God I desire to know intimately and serve with my whole life. Love, then discipline based on Truth, then obedience, then a fruitful life Amen.
