Welcome to the first blog for our new Visionwriters International website. We are so glad that you are here!  I want to start this first blog by giving tribute to the founder of Visionwriters International, Jaque (Banas) Shank. In the 1970’s God touched Jaque’s heart and taught her how to journalize the Word of God and to know her identity in Christ. It so changed her life that others began to beg her to teach them what God had taught her.  She began to teach her friends and it spread rapidly. In 1984 the non-for-profit called “Miracle in the Mirror” started in her home state of California. Later on in 1998 the name was changed to “Visionwriters International” which it remains today. Jaque passed away on March 4^th of 2017 and is greatly missed. She handed the ministry part of Visionwriters International over to the board of directors to steward. 

So here we are…offering many different courses including those written by Jaque, so that you too can join us in knowing more completely how to “live loved” by our heavenly Father. It has been a blessing in my life to learn to take scripture and write back and forth to God on paper. It is a great way to hear His loving voice. I have also learned more about my identity in Christ and God’s character. The classes are amazing as we fellowship with others through our community, relationships, accountability, and discipline. 

I challenge you to come on this adventure with us. Visionwriters has been a tool that God has used to change my life and I desire for it to do the same for you!
